The inside tasted very good but the outside was very dry and hard. The circumference of the cake from the outside in, to about 2.5cm all round, was so dry that it was hard to cut the cake into slices.

A bit disappointed as the cake was dry and rather hard to cut through due to all the large nuts

Perfect cake for my birthday and family loved it! It might be a little too sweet for some as icing was quite thick. Delicious nonetheless and went great with coffee!
