I wanted to quickly say thank you and celebrate January 2023! It’s not often one is crazy enough to leave behind all you know in your 50’s, create a new business, enter a new industry, move cities and follow a passion. I’m a celiac and I wanted in my head and heart to create a place where I could eat without fear, and create food that I hadn’t had in years that was also tasty. On that note January is my celebration month… it’s my birthday month and on the 18th our bakery has been open for two years. It hasn’t been easy but despite Covid, continuous loadsheding, enormous fuel and ingredient hikes and our mistakes we are still operational.
